Recently I've been thinking about getting active again in the blogging space. And while I've always had my hammerti.me blog active in some form or fashion, I often don't update it because it's a bit clunky to do so. I would like to migrate it to self hosted Ghost at some point in the near future - but I wanted something in between.

Enter publications. Since I've been active again on Blue Sky it seems the logical choice to host a short form blog. Leaflet publications are built on the AT Protocol which powers Bluesky and enables open publication with comments, discovery and many other upcoming features.

Leaflet itself is open source, and you can learn more about the tech stack here. But most importantly for me, it's pretty quick to create a new entry and share it out. I'll be posting about many topics including politics, tech, photography and more.

So there you have it, you can find my quick thoughts at https://bytes.hammerti.me! I'll be sharing out my posts on places like Bluesky, Mastodon, and Facebook.
